Jacinta Lorenzo

Jacinta was born in Darwin but now lives in Milikapiti. She currently works at the Milikapiti store on days when she isn’t painting.
“The patterns I use come from my head; I don’t just have one type.”

Other Tiwi people have described her work as similar to old Tiwi patterns.

Jacinta feels that culture is very important, especially to pass on to the children. She has three children who have given her 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren so far.
